Opening song 'I Appreciate The Love' is a vibey feel-good track, easy on the ears and with an infectious beat. 'Grant Me The Life' sees Lawrence's trademark vocal style shine as only he can, he alternates between foreground and background vocals to add a sense of depth. There is both angst and peace in his vocals, demonstrating a unique range. Switching things up a little, 'Not Crying No More' opens with a piano sound, and moves into unusual percussion sounds to provide added diversity in the musical styles of this album.

Title track 'See Me Through' is a clear highlight, musically strong and with lyrics that are both worshipful and reflective. "I need to trust you more. See me through. I'm depending on you." 'You Commanded Yourself' has a much faster tempo, with almost a Latin musical feel, with the fast guitar and snappy rhythm.

'King Triumphant' slows things down, with a Gangsta Rap style opening sound and slow-rap vocals. This is one of those tracks that would work brilliantly as just an instrumental accompaniment to a dramatic movie scene, but with the moody vocals it is so effective as a solid track, although it ends too soon!

'Mercy Fall' is a sombre song, but with some beautiful string-style synth sounds and occasional bursts of clapton-esque guitar. Lawrence mixes up the rhythm and tempo later in the song, creating a complexity not seen thus far on the album. Likewise the pops and licks of 'Guide Me' provide an intriguing music layer to this short track. "Lord I need you to guide me. Make me whole. Save my life."

The piano riffs on 'Let Me Put My Hand On It' almost go unnoticed, such is the strength of the vocals that lead the song along it's weaving path, before a much more traditional style electric guitar launches 'Take My Hand'. The piano sound is still there in the background as this track again sees the return of Lawrence's gritty and determined pleas to God.

'Draw Me' is almost impossible not to get caught up in, as the swaying beat and floating instruments draw you in. Next up 'That's My Desire' is completely different, bordering on a Pop style, giving a hugely enjoyable change of direction as we see exactly what Lawrence is capable of producing, with a hyperactive beat driving the song forward. The Latin music style returns for final track 'And Did (God Did)', providing everything you'd expect from a lance dance track, overlayed with the praise-full lyrics.

This album shows that Lawrence Hancock still consistently produces top of the range sounds, delivering a set of songs that delve into his strong personal faith, and provide plenty of 'stand in awe' moments. It's difficult not to overstate the diverse range of musical styles here, from R&B and Hip Hop to Latin and Rap. Such is the strength and depth of this, his tenth album, that it's easy to see why his stellar career has delivered so many top songs. Whatever style of music you listen to, this album will appeal to you. It pulls you in, gets inside your head, and leaves you inspired.
