New Remix Album 'Reinvention' From Superchick

Mar 03 2010

Pop/Rock band Superchick will release their second remix album, titled 'Reinvention' on 20th April. The release follows the band's fifth studio album 'Rock What You Got' (2008). 'Reinvention' contains eight remixed songs and two new tracks, 'Still Here' and 'Let It Roll'.

The band say the album includes "reinvented versions of some of our favorite songs from every album in the Superchick discography, plus some brand new tracks too!" In 2003 Superchick released their first remix album, 'Regeneration'.

Superchick sisters Tricia Baumhardt and Melissa Brock traveled to Uganda in January to visit four Child Development Centers run by the Compassion International charity. "Going to Uganda with Compassion really let me see in person how sponsoring a child not only gives them food, water, education and God's love, but it gives hope to the hopeless. It gives them a chance at a future beyond their circumstances. And the people of Uganda showed me what true love for God is in the midst of trials. They were full of joy for their God, and it was evident in their faces. I left with a new joy myself. What a beautiful place, a beautiful people and a beautiful God we have!" commented Melissa after the visit.
