British female duo GoldDigger will release their full length debut album 'If Destroyed Still True' on 4th September. The Sheffield based group consists of Mandy Toombs and Beth Taylor who together with the album's producer Andy Baker (Philippa Hanna, The Gentlemen) co-wrote the 12 songs on the album. Previously the group had released a number of short EPs since they got together four years ago. The new album includes the songs 'Bad Habit', 'The Princess Song', 'Hanging On', 'Fix To You' and 'I Can't Pretend'.

The group are described as having a "Fresh edgy sound and some gritty challenging lyrics that resonates with youth and adult audiences alike. Formed with the agenda to write songs with something worth saying, to communicate truths and challenges that are so often not portrayed in the music that we hear, GoldDigger use music to communicate counter-cultural messages of hope through contemporary issue based songs."

GoldDigger also work with teenage girls across Sheffield and in conferences nationally teach a course that they wrote for girls about self worth, sex and relationships and dreams for the future. "Young people are fed so many messages all the time", says the group. "Here's a chance to give a positive one. Golddigger wrote this album to be a challenge, a support and a message of hope." To further support their youth work, GoldDigger are offering a special 'buy one, give one free' pre-order offer. "Pre-order this album and you'll get one copy delivered to you and one copy will be given to a disadvantaged young person in Sheffield. How cool is that to know a complete stranger will get an album totally free with a personal message from you!"

Following recent performances at Rave In The Nave and New Wine North and East, the girl group will also be performing a UK tour during October and November. "We're so excited about taking the new album on the road. We will be touring with our band and we can't wait to hit the road and come and see loads of you guys!"
