Shaun Groves Readies New Album 'Third World Symphony'

Singer/songwriter Shaun Groves will release his fifth album 'Third World Symphony' on 30th August 2011. The independently released ten-track album will be available from iTunes and shaungroves.com and features artwork created by designer Chaz Russo.

Shaun worked with producer and engineer Mitch Dane on the new album which was mixed by Shane Wilson and mastered by Matt Odmark. The band was made up of Tony Lucido (bass), Jake Goss (drums), Steve Mason (banjo, mandolin, acoustic guitar), Andrew Osenga (electric guitar) and Shaun himself (piano, acoustic guitar, glockenspiel). 'Third World Symphony' follows Shaun's 2008 release 'One Night in Knoxville'.

Shaun released his debut album 'Invitation to Eavesdrop' in 2001 which scored five songs on the charts and a half dozen Dove Award nominations, including New Artist and Song of the Year for 'Welcome Home'. He was soon touring coast to coast and around the world with Bebo Norman, Jars of Clay and Michael W. Smith.
