Ooberfuse Performing At Universities For The Coffee House Sessions

Oct 29 2013

British band Ooberfuse have kicked off a ten day tour of the UK's universities this week. The duo have been selected for the Coffee House Sessions, which is curated by Radio 1's Huw Stephens, and which will see the group perform live at two universities per day this week and next week.

"Coffee House Sessions is the first project of its kind that brings live music back on to university campuses via a truly engaging format for artists and students alike", explains the organisers.

"Coffee House Sessions delivers two separate acoustic shows a day for the artist over a 10 day period and provides a combined promotional opportunity for the artist through student media channels such as student newspaper, student radio and student TV."

Describing the group, the organisers go on to say, "Ooberfuse are a dark-wave lush-pop band from Woolwich, London unafraid to deep-sea dive into the deepest oceans of human emotions to colour-up drab contemporary life... Orchestral electronica with a familiar urban groove, strange eastern fragrances exude their sound. Delicate textures captivate and seduce."
