Jamie Pritchard Releases 3rd Single 'My Jesus' From Upcoming EP
Christian Singer songwriter and worship leader Jamie Pritchard, from Poole, has released a new single, ‘My Jesus’, the third of four singles before the six track EP ‘Tapestry’ is released on the 12th of May.
Following on from singles ‘Alabaster Jar', and ‘Tapestry’ (featuring Nathan Jess) Jamie Pritchard has released the 3rd single of the project ‘Tapestry’, called ‘My Jesus’.
‘This song is probably the song that is the most precious to me from the whole project, I sat down one evening with my guitar and this song just came. It’s a conversation that I imagined between a friend and myself where I tell them my story, all the way Jesus has changed my life, freeing me from shame, meeting me in my anxieties and filling me with peace, forgiving me from my sins, and how He can do it for them too’ - Jamie Pritchard.
Jamie wrote ‘My Jesus’ with the help of his wife Beth Pritchard, and what started out as a simple acoustic track has been crafted into a beautiful full band arrangement by producer Nathan Jess, drawing on influences like James Taylor and Foy Vance.
‘My Jesus is a beautiful conversation exploring the personal transformation that relationship with Jesus brings. This great song Jamie has written sings itself so well that producing this was always about making sure the music stayed out of the way of the central performance and excellent storytelling from Jamie.’ - Nathan Jess, producer
