Jamie Pritchard Releases Six Track EP 'Tapestry'
Christian Singer songwriter Jamie Pritchard, from Poole, UK, is releasing a new EP ‘Tapestry’, a collection of 6 tracks that Jamie has been crafting over the last couple of years, all centred around the truth there is a God who wants to take the parts of our lives most broken and messed up, and redeem them, making them a beautiful Tapestry of his grace. Releasing Friday the 12th of May, with an EP launch party at the Lantern Church Merley to celebrate.
Following on from singles ‘Alabaster Jar', ‘Tapestry’ (featuring Nathan Jess), ‘My Jesus’, and ‘Shadowlands’ the six track EP is completed with tracks ‘Brick by Brick’, (a story of Jamie’s personal journey with mental health struggles and the God who has broken into his story and can do for yours too) and ‘In the Name of Jesus’ (a song all about the power of Jesus to change lives).
‘This project has been a real journey for me, from the song writing process through to recording and releasing. It’s a vulnerable window into my own journey with God, telling the story of my own experience of the grace of Jesus transforming my life and hopefully helping others catch a glimpse of Jesus and lead them to invite him into their own story. It’s true to the music that inspires me sonically, music from writers such as Bruce Springsteen, Foy Vance and Chris Renzema, I can’t wait for you to hear it!’ - Jamie Pritchard
Jamie has had great opportunities to play these songs live, both in Churches, as well as in bars and café’s, telling the stories behind these songs, as well as receiving airplay and interviews on radio, with singles ‘Tapestry’ and ‘My Jesus’ receiving radio play on UCB2 and ‘Shadowlands’ being ‘record of the week’ on UCB1.
‘This EP is a stunning collection of honest and heartfelt songs. I think any listener would find it hard to not be compelled by the authenticity in Jamie’s writing and delivery and be moved to find out more about the God he speaks of and the transformative impact He has had on his life.’ - Nathan Jess, producer
