Angela Mahon Releases Deeply Personal Plea, 'Jesus Carry Me Lord'
Irish Christian singer-songwriter Angela Mahon has released her moving new single, 'Jesus Carry Me Lord,' the first track in her collection 'Songs of God's Healing Love'. With a heartfelt message of faith and surrender, the song is available now on all streaming platforms.
'Jesus Carry Me Lord' was born out of one of the most challenging seasons of Angela’s life. While caring for her youngest son Jacob, who faced major health struggles since birth, Angela carried the weight of hospital stays, family life with six children, and running a business. In the midst of this, she turned to her piano for solace, and the words of Matthew 11:28 came alive:
'Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.' Out of that moment of surrender came the song, a prayer of laying down burdens and finding rest in Christ.
