Switchfoot have released a special iTunes album called the 'Switchfoot iTunes Sessions'. The eight song album, available only from the US iTunes store, features hit tracks such as 'The Sound (John M. Perkins Blues)', 'Learning To Breathe', 'Dare You To Move' and 'Mess Of Me'.

'Switchfoot iTunes Sessions' is currently top 5 on iTunes alternative albums, whilst the band's most recent studio album 'Hello Hurricane', released last year, is currently back up to number 10.

The US rock band have also announced a new US tour with The Almost, saying "There have been rumors circulating but we are thrilled to confirm 100% that we are touring with The Almost! We had the pleasure of rocking with these guys in San Diego at Bro Am and are super excited to bring them on the road this fall. Tour dates with The Almost begin October 1st, and tickets for most shows go on sale today, September 2nd."
