Jan 19 2011

British singer/songwriter Philippa Hanna will shortly release a new mini album titled 'Out Of The Blue'. Recorded live at Steelworks studio, the album was produced and mixed by Grammy Award winning Eliot Kennedy. 'Out Of The Blue' features a selection of old favorites such as 'I Am Amazing', 'Summer Bride' and 'Ave To Love', along with three never recorded before tracks.

Described by Resound Media as "the most exciting work to come from the Sheffield based singer songwriter yet", the bluegrass inspired mini album can be ordered now from the Resound Media Shop.

As reported last week, Philippa will kick off her new UK tour on 23rd January in Easingwold. During the tour, which continues through until late April with dates scattered all over the country in a variety of different venues, Philippa will be supported by singer/songwriter Roo Walker.

Philippa made an appearance on BBC1's regular TV show 'Songs of Praise' on 2nd January 2011 and has been steadily attracting a growing group of followers since her 2007 debut album 'Watching Me'.
