Ireland's Angela Mahon Releasing 'Hope On The Horizon' From Upcoming EP
Independent Irish singer/songwriter Angela Mahon has announced that her upcoming single 'Hope on the Horizon' will be released on 30th November. The mother of five describes herself as having gone "through the other side of depression, now seeking to bring encouragement to others, one song at a time."
Angela Mahon's songs blend beautiful, simple melodies with uplifting, clever lyrics. She aspires to make a positive and lasting impact on the world through her contemporary christian songs. Hope on the Horizon is her new release from her upcoming EP 'Towards the Light'.
'Hope on the Horizon' is a song about believing in, and following your dreams; about fighting fearlessly to ensure your visions become a reality. In particular, when life is constantly presenting a variety of challenges, trusting in hope teaches us to rise above and to move amidst our crises in life with a hopeful heart.
Angela has an acoustic style encompassing Celtic folk melodies and featuring her own piano playing as well as orchestral accompaniment arranged by her husband Robert Mahon. Writing music and singing for years she wrote her first album 'DIVINE FRIENDSHIP' a collection of Christian inspirational songs in 2009. This album had its first performances in Enniscorthy Cathedral, Wexford and Castleknock in Dublin and has recently been rereleased on online music platforms. In recent times Angela moved more into contemporary Christian music with songs already released from her upcoming EP called 'Break Free' and 'Struck Down by Grace'.
