Ireland's Angela Mahon Releasing New Single 'Break Free' Ahead of New EP
Angela Mahon, an Inspirational Christian Music Artist from Ireland penning folksy acoustic songs with a Godly flare and classical twist, releases her new single 'Break Free' on 8th March 2019. The song is about overcoming personal struggles in order to embrace, accept and realise her worth in the eyes of God. The track is cut from her upcoming EP 'Towards the Light' due for release this summer.
Living by the sea on the South Coast of Ireland, Christian singer songwriter Angela Mahon is making musical waves with her soothing warm singing voice, her vocals are reminiscent of Sandi Patty and Audrey Assad. As well as being well known for her amazing vocals, Angela’s fans have described her songs as being honest, heartfelt and brimming with wisdom and grace. A fresh new voice in Christian music, Angela’s peaceful and encouraging folk melodies are songs you will want to sing along with.
Her self-released debut album 'Divine Friendship' was warmly received, and in 2017 the album was released onto the global digital platform arena where it has started to gain momentum for this artist.
In 2018 Angela did a couple of demos of her songs 'Struck Down By Grace' and 'Hope on the Horizon', they were received well and will now feature on her upcoming EP 'Towards the Light', due for release in Summer 2019.
Angela’s life of music and song are intertwined with being a full time mother to five young children. Along with her husband Robert, they make a great team and in 2009 they established the Kiltra School of Music, a music school for South Wexford. Robert arranges all of Angela’s music and features on the tracks with his classical stylestring arrangements. Angela is very much involved in music ministry in her surrounding local churches as well as pioneering musical outreach programmes for the youth and rural communities of the South Wexford area. Her vision is to encourage others through music and song, allowing the love of God to wrap around them, so that they can come to realise the mystery of their true worth in the eyes of God.
