Switchfoot Extend Hello Hurricane Tour Into January

Dec 17 2009

Switchfoot will continue their hugely successful 'Hello Hurricane Tour' in January, in support of their latest album 'Hello Hurricane', which debuted in the Top 15 of The Billboard 200. The band will begin 2010 with a performance on US TV show 'The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson' on Monday 4th January 4th.

The band has been playing sold-out shows since November, playing 'Hello Hurricane' in its entirety, followed by an assortment of fan favorites from its previous albums. Whilst on tour Switchfoot are also collecting donations for local food banks, encouraging fans to bring non-perishable items to the shows.

'Mess Of Me', the lead single from 'Hello Hurricane', is used in the trailer and television commercials for Samuel Goldwyn's Film 'To Save A Life', which will be released on January 22nd.

The band have announced 12 further dates on their 'Hello Hurricane Tour' in the USA and Canada during January (dates below). 2010 will also see them performing at New Zealand's huge Parachute Music Festival on 30th January, plus the UK's Big Church Day Out event from 29th to 31st May and Scotland's Frenzy Festival on 12th June.
